Talking to a lecturer is a good idea regardless. I had a few ideas of my own but didn't really realize that they all were overly ambitious until doing so. I myself, found a lot of inspiration browsing through some old papers, tech reports, etc. There's a whole bunch on Google Scholar, but you should start with Wikipedia. That, in effect, requires certain areas of interest. I had chosen a topic in computer science that I didn't think was taught with particular depth on BSc line at DIKU (computability), and joined it with another topic that I felt passionate about (compiler construction), and voila. I also remember randomly browsing through the Stanford tech report archive. |

The image group has some (old?) project proposals on their website, and here's another list by the old TOPPS group. Talking to a lecturer is the right answer, though. |

The most recent project proposals are listed on the Absalon bachelor's project page for the given semester. Unfortunately you cannot see these before you sign up for writing the bachelor's project, and so there is little aid in early preparation -- for example if you want to get good at something before you write your project. I would like to write an article about what bachelor's projects people have made recently and hope that this can serve as inspiration. |
